This colorful box depicts Christmas in the Peruvian Andes. Jesús Sanchez Avendaño crafts a traditional retablo (diorama) in the regional style of Ayacucho. The Holy Family and other figurines are modeled of clay and painted by hand. Below them, scenes of peasants celebrating the harvest of tunas, the sale of hats and a party with a band of musicians are shown.
