Mini Alebrijes

This beautiful "Mini Alebrijes" are hand crafted from the copal wood, which comes from a small tree native to the tropical dry forests of the indigenous parts of southern Mexico. Alebrijes can be carved in to many different animals as well as fantasy and mystical creatures. Diligently worked on by many of indigenous families in the villages of Oaxaca Mexico. Can take several weeks if not months to complete. These magical handcrafted brightly colored carvings are not only known to bring good luck, but are great for displaying in the home and make great captivating gifts!

Because they are uniquely and individually carved & painted, no two pieces are exactly alike.
